Since the start of this pandemic, the advice has been to wash your hands and keep them clean. The advice also applies to the majority of surfaces and pretty much anything people come into contact with. When businesses started to reopen their doors, the first thing we all read or heard about is how much they had increased their cleaning regimes. Some, however, have not communicated their new ways of cleaning at all. They may offer you hand sanitisers at the entry points, but not everyone will use them.
Have you noticed any changes to the places you have recently been to? Are they noticeably cleaner? Could you tell that they have "enhanced" their cleaning and are focusing on "high footfall areas"?
As mentioned in my previous article, the cleaning industry and its operatives are now more critical than ever. I hope everyone has had a good hard look at how, when, and why they clean.

How many times have you visited a toilet facility that impressed you with its cleanliness? How many times have you come out of another holding your nose in disgust? I hope that each person involved in the cleaning industry campaigns for greater focus and higher standards. The benefit of this will be an enhanced experience for customers and a safer working environment for all staff and visitors.
